Senior Leaders

Rick and Debra Jack have been married since July 14, 1973. They have 2 married sons and 4 grandchildren.

Both Rick and Debra are ordained ministers and have been in various areas of ministry since 1975. They have been filled with the Holy Spirit since 1987. They have received training and/or instruction from Bill Gothard, Rhema Bible School, Elijah House Prayer Counseling, Restoring the Foundations Ministry, Kenneth Copeland Ministries and the churches in which they have served in the past.

After a time of sabbatical from over 30 years of ministry to seek God’s will and direction for their lives, Rick and Debra heard from God, “I want you to begin a church.” The LORD proceeded to give them the name, New Beginnings Christian Fellowship. He planted a vision within them directly related to new beginnings and began to take them on a 4-year road of preparation. They began to prepare by taking Bible school courses through Rhema Bible College to extend their knowledge of the Word and spend specific time in prayer and fasting. Believing that God wanted the church to start in Whitesburg, Georgia, they started a small home group which consisted mostly of family and a few others from time to time. However, it was not God’s final plan. Once again, the Jack’s sought the LORD and His divine direction and once again they heard Him and followed His leading through a series of events to Leicester, North Carolina—“The LORD had said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you’” (Genesis 12:1)—a place that they had never heard of!

The Jack’s bought property to build a home on and sought a church in which to worship while they were building their home and getting acquainted with the area. They felt God leading them to New Covenant Church in Clyde, North Carolina, where they served under Pastor Nick Honerkamp and met Apostle Frank Harvey.

After a season of building their home in Leicester’s Big Sandy Mush community, the LORD started nudging the Jack’s to start looking for a building, indicating that the time was now. To their surprise, a store-gas station building became available for lease located on Old Leicester Highway. It was time to begin— “For such a time as this!”

The Jack’s were sent out from New Covenant Church with prophecy and prayer from the leadership of the church and under the covering of Dr. Frank Harvey and Covenant Life Ministries.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship has since then out grown the little store-gas station and are now worshipping at 876 New Leicester Hwy — Leicester Village where the LORD led them in 2008. The LORD gave Rick and Debra the vision to see His people walk in the Fullness of Christ — Colossians 2:10.
