Each month, we release a list of “prayer points” to guide churchwide prayer and intercession. We invite you to join us in praying for these specific areas (listed below).
We are praying for God’s supernatural protection and the manifestation of signs, wonders, and miracles during this coronavirus crisis in our world. We are pushing back the darkness and declaring our territory of WNC as a safe zone. We stand on Psalm 91 and 1 John 4:4 – “Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.” We are declaring healing over those that are sick. We are also praying for the leaders of our nation, state, and local communities to have godly wisdom and counsel as they navigate decision-making. We have a great resource to guide intercession for this time and season. Find it here.
The holiday of Pesach, or Passover, falls on the Hebrew calendar dates of Nissan 15-22. Pesach 2020 (Passover) begins at sundown on Wednesday, April 8th and ends at nightfall on Thursday, April 16th.
Pray for a Great Move of the Holy Spirit (fresh oil and fresh fire)
// 1 Corinthians 2:13 NIV //
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.
Lord, we surrender our lives to your message of salvation. You have given us the gift of steadfast love. Multiply these gifts so that we may share the magnitude of your joy-filled message throughout our community and world. Keep your words of truth planted firm within us.Help us to keep focus on what is pure and right. Give us the power to be obedient to Your commands. And when the enemy reminds us where we have been, hissing his lies and attacks our way, we trust that Your voice speaks louder and stronger, reminding us we are safe with You and that Your purposes and great love will not fail us.
Pray for Healing and Protection over all illnesses and viruses
