Each month, we release a list of “prayer points” to guide churchwide prayer and intercession. We invite you to join us in praying for these specific areas (listed below).
We are praying for God’s supernatural protection and the manifestation of signs, wonders, and miracles during this coronavirus crisis and civil unrest in our nation. We are pushing back the darkness and declaring our territory of WNC as a safe zone. We stand on Psalm 91 and 1 John 4:4 – “Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.” We are also praying for the leaders of our nation, state, and local communities to have godly wisdom and counsel as they navigate decision-making during this tumultuous time. We have a great resource to guide intercession for this time and season. Find it here.
Pray for the USA, our Independence and Dependence on Him
Pray for restoration of our nation’s dependence on our Lord for all things.
Pray that we would be part of the remnant that hears the call.
Pray against socialism.
Pray for our President, government, local, state, and federal leaders to hear from God.
// 1 Timothy 2:1-4 // Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Pray for love and unity among us. Pray that we will create an atmosphere that welcomes the move of the Holy Spirit. Pray that we could cultivate a closer relationship with the Lord and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
Our hearts should be ablaze with love for Jesus and of Jesus! We cannot tolerate complacency or be satisfied with mediocre Christianity. Mountains are being moved, obstacles are being moved by the Lord to establish a return and a yearning for Him.
// John 12:35-36 // Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. 36 Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.
